Upcoming Porsche Cars

Porsche has several exciting new and updated models upcoming in late 2025 and into 2026, including all-electric versions of key models and performance-focused hybrid variants of the iconic 911.

Upcoming Models and Key Details

Flagship 3-Row Electric SUV: Porsche is developing a new, larger, ultra-luxury three-row SUV (internal codename K1) to sit above the Cayenne, though its launch date has been pushed back, and it might initially offer an internal combustion engine (ICE) and plug-in hybrid options alongside the eventual electric powertrain.

Porsche Macan Electric (EV): The all-electric Macan has already launched and is part of the 2025/2026 lineup, sold alongside the internal-combustion version initially. It features a new platform, a range of over 350 miles, and impressive performance figures, with the Turbo variant offering around 1,000 horsepower.

Porsche Cayenne Electric (EV): A fully electric version of the Cayenne was recently unveiled and launched in November 2025. It boasts a large 108 kWh battery, up to 1,000 hp in the Turbo variant, and extremely fast charging capabilities (10-80% in 16 minutes).

Porsche 911 (992.2) Facelift: The updated 911 lineup for 2026 includes significant changes, most notably the introduction of a performance-focused mild-hybrid system in the Carrera GTS and Turbo S variants. This hybrid system provides an extra boost of power and improved efficiency without compromising the classic 911 driving experience.

Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman EV: All-electric versions of the 718 Boxster and Cayman are expected to arrive in 2026. These mid-engine sports cars will be built on a new platform and are expected to retain the brand’s agile handling characteristics while embracing electric power.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS Hybrid: A new, high-performance GT2 RS is coming back, featuring a hybrid-turbo engine technology from the 911 GTS T-Hybrid, with the goal of setting Nürburgring records.

Next-Gen Panamera: The next-generation Porsche Panamera has been introduced, featuring an updated interior with a new digital cockpit and enhanced technology.

Upcoming Porsche models include the Macan EV, a redesigned Cayenne Electric, and updates to the 911 and Panamera lineups, such as the 2025 Taycan and the new Panamera GTS. Porsche is also developing a flagship electric SUV, codenamed K1.
