The all-electric Porsche Cayenne Electric has been officially unveiled, with an expected delivery date in the second half of 2026. Bookings for the new EV, which is based on an 800-volt architecture for ultra-fast charging, are open now.

Notable Features

  • Platform: The new Cayenne Electric is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, also shared with the Porsche Macan EV, which allows for a longer wheelbase and improved handling.
  • Charging: It is the first Porsche model to support an optional 11 kW wireless inductive charging capability. The 800-volt architecture enables rapid DC charging, adding up to 325 km of range in just 10 minutes under optimal conditions.
  • Interior Technology: The cabin features a highly digital interface with a new “Flow Display” concept, including a curved 14.5-inch central screen, a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display. An augmented reality head-up display is also available as an option.
  • Aerodynamics: The design includes EV-specific aerodynamic enhancements like a closed grille and active air vents, resulting in a low drag coefficient of 0.25.
  • Practicality: The vehicle offers 781 litres of luggage capacity, which expands to 1,588 litres with the rear seats folded, plus an additional 90-litre front storage compartment (frunk). It maintains a high towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg with the optional off-road package.

The Cayenne Electric is available in 2 variants, powered by a 113 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that charges at a DC charging capacity of up to 390 kW. The Turbo produces 1,156 hp and 1,500 Nm, making it the most powerful production Porsche of all time, whereas the EV produces 442hp and 835 Nm.

The SUV is offered with a starting on-road price of ₹ 1.85 crore for the EV and going up to ₹ 2.39 crore for the Turbo. These on-road prices vary by city.

The Porsche Cayenne Electric ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 1.76 crore and goes up to ₹ 2.26 crore. The Cayenne Electric on-road price ranges between ₹ 1.85 crore and ₹ 2.39 crore, depending on the city and variant.

Porsche offers 2 variant options, with EV as the entry-level and Turbo as the top trim.

  • The base Cayenne Electric variant delivers 408hp in normal operation and 442hp and 835 Nm of torque with Launch Control. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h, paired with a 113 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of up to 642 km.
     
  • The top-spec Cayenne Turbo Electric variant develops up to 857hp in normal driving mode, with an additional 176hp available through the Push-to-Pass function for 10 seconds. With Launch Control activated, it produces up to 1,156hp and up to 1,500 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, from 0-200 km/h in 7.4 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h, providing a range of up to 623 km. The Turbo variant features direct oil cooling of the electric motor on the rear axle and, PTV Plus limited-slip rear differential.
